Your file never leaves your browserThe short version
Many RessaTools tools process your files entirely inside your browser. For those tools, your files are never uploaded to us, never stored, and never seen by anyone. Each tool states clearly whether it works this way.
Files you process
Where a tool is marked as running in your browser, the file you select stays on your device. Nothing about its contents is transmitted to RessaTools. When you close the tab, it is gone.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand which tools are used and where people get stuck, so we can improve them. We record anonymous usage events (for example, that a tool was used) — never the contents of your files or text.
Accounts and payments
You only create an account if you choose to buy a paid plan. Payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we never see or store your card details.
